Located in Virginia Beach’s ViBe Creative District, Splash House is a one-of-a-kind artistic experience. Bring your family, friends, or even make a splash by yourself! We encourage you to splash outside the lines with our collection of paints and tools. Did we mention you can use water guns? You can! Splash Sessions are great for all ages and allow you to unleash your inner artist onto the canvas. Splash House is all about having fun with color and making your own unique masterpiece. What kind of paint do you use?
Craft acrylic paint. It’s non toxic and has no fumes. It is washable but could still stain your clothes or shoes.
What should I wear?
If you want to keep your clothes clean, you can purchase disposable coveralls, bonnet, booties, and goggles! If you want to get messy, wear clothes or a bathing suit you don’t mind getting splashed with paint. We recommend bringing a towel if you don’t wear coveralls! Even with coveralls there is a chance that paint will get on you!
How long is a session?
1 Hour to suit-up, pick your paints and tools, splash paint, and get cleaned up!
How much does it cost?
Prices vary based on session type. Our regular sessions cost $39 per studio (1-2 people per studio) with $10 for an additional person per studio. (e.g. $39 for 1 person, $49 for two people). Children 3 & under are free with a paying participant.
How old do you have to be?
We welcome all ages! Ages 3 & Under are free with a paying participant. Limit 1 child 3 & under per studio.
How many people can I bring?
You can bring up to 8 people with a max of 4 studios (2 people per studio). Have more people or want to book the whole space? Contact us for more information.
Do you have space for parties or special events?

Do you ship?
Traveling from out-of-town? We will ship your canvas for you - make sure to tell us at the beginning of your session.
How do I take my canvas home?
The paint will be wet for 24-hours, so we offer boxes to purchase to take your canvas home in. We also offer shipping for those who aren’t able to take with them. We will hold your painting until the end of the next business day if you’d like to leave it to dry but if you leave it longer we’ll have to throw it away.
Do you have to be artistic?
We believe that everyone has an inner-artist waiting to be released. Splash House is the perfect activity for all ages, as there are no rules when it comes to splashing paint and creating a unique masterpiece! Our Studio Assistants will be there to help if you have any questions.
Do I need to have a reservation?
Reservations are required for Little Splashers, Sensory Hour, and Splash Your Heart Out events. Reservations are not required for regular Splash Sessions or Splash The Night Away sessions, although they are encouraged to make sure there is a space available. We cannot guarantee that there will be space at the time you come if you don’t make a reservation.
What is your privacy policy?
While we encourage you to visit our neighbors in the ViBe district for great food, entertainment and retail, your information will never be sold.
Do you sell adult beverages?
We do not sell adult beverages at this time.
Can I get my deposit back if I cancel?
Bookings are accepted online with a $10 deposit. Our time slots are in high demand so we cannot refund deposits, however, if you need to change your appointment you can transfer your deposit as long as it's within 72 hours in advance, otherwise it is forfeited.
Where do I park?
There is free guest parking available located behind the building.

Turning off of 17th between the ABC store and DeRican Chef. We also have a satellite lot on Artic across from Beads & Rocks. There is paid meter and garage parking as well but we do not validate tickets.
